Native Son Assemblage Art

I've been starting to create more mixed media assemblage pieces. This piece is a nod to native american tribal culture. The crow represents a totem animal to many, including myself. I created the  crow from 18 guage sheet copper, which I hand textured.  Found items, crow feathers,  photos and paper mache are used in this piece. These pieces take an incredible amount of time to assemble. Mixed media art piece measures 8" x 10".  The piece was photographed without the glass in front in order to create a better photo.
