Soar

Artist Karen Boyd created this piece as an homage to the crows that visit her home in the California Foothills. A heavily textured nickel crows soars above the foothills created from acrylic, newspaper and feathers the crows have left for her. The compass in the piece is set for the direction the crows leave the valley at sunset. Nesting sticks are collecting from the woods the crows frequent.
