Song of the Desert”
This hand-forged cuff captures the quiet poetry of the desert — a landscape alive with rhythm, resilience, and reverence. Brass and silver intertwine to form mountain silhouettes, desert flora, and a lone coyote lifting its song beneath a sky of open flight.
At its center rests a turquoise sun, symbol of renewal and enduring light. The metal’s surface bears the marks of fire and handwork, each texture a record of the creative process — of shaping, refining, and listening to what the material reveals.
“Song of the Desert” reflects my ongoing exploration of the natural world and the human connection to it — how we carry places within us, and how those places, in turn, shape the stories we create. This piece is both ornament and narrative: a wearable landscape, a fragment of wilderness made eternal through touch and flame.
